Sowing: April to July

Harvest: July to January

Be patient…the seeds can take 3 weeks to 1 month to germinate !

Soak the seeds for 24 hours in water before sowing them. Sow in a bucket filled with seed compost per pocket 4 to 5 seeds, optimal temperature 12 to 15°, when the plants are 10-12 cm tall, plant them in their final place.

You can also sow them directly in place from March to May. Make furrows 1 cm deep. Spread the seeds evenly and cover with very little soil, tamp down with the back of the rake. Water with a fine rain.

Keep the soil moist until the first leaves appear.

Maintenance: keep the soil fresh by hoeing. Water only when necessary. Harvest as needed.

Friendly plants: tomatoes. Keep away from salads.
