Pretty plantperennial, ornamental and aromatic. Also called Korean mint, blue licorice, purple hyssop, Indian mint, giant wrinkled hyssop, huo xiang or Chinese patchouli, is an aromatic herb in the mint family. It is a plant native to North America which reaches 1.20 m in height, with an aniseed smell. We use the leaves and the purple flowers in spikes (with a more peppery taste). Used to flavor raw vegetables, salads, fish, sauces, cakes, pumpkin jam. The leaves can be used in herbal tea with or without tea.

Perennial and very hardy herbaceous plant. Sowing: February to April in buckets, indoors (15 to 20° day and night). When the plants are about 10-12 cm tall, transplant them to their final place, in a place with sunny and warm exposure, spaced 50 cm apart, in a place where you can leave them for several years. Water regularly without waterlogging the soil. Then, when the plant has grown, weekly watering in the evening will suffice. (to be doubled if necessary in periods of heat or drought). Agastache prefers a soil rich in humus, but hardy, it adapts to almost all soils, as long as they are well drained. It resists drought well.
